Charlie Chaplin’s CITY LIGHTS (1931, 87 minutes) with live musical accompaniment by the Oakland Symphony, conducted by Timothy Brock. Brock is the leading authority on the music of Charlie Chaplin and was selected by the Chaplin family to restore all 12 published film scores composed by Chaplin, including CITY LIGHTS. The glorious Paramount Theatre! A cinematic masterpiece! A symphony orchestra! A night not to be missed!
This event is dedicated to the memory of maestro Michael Morgan.
